I have been using various Camelback 100 oz. Packs for over 25 years. I viewed a review of a Lumbar Pack on a Bikepacking channel and decided to buy one to try out. But, which one? I looked at all the major brands and had nearly decided on one when I stumbled on a review of the Source Hipster. I liked what I saw and liked that the Company manufactured Professional Military Tactical gear in Israel. Information on the Hipster was limited but Bought it.
It shipped and arrived as promised, well packaged. I am pleased with the pack having used it 5-6 times on rides and runs. I live in the Desert and it gets quite hot and will use the Hipster for the 2-3 hour rides as it is 50 oz.. I will see how it works for the longer rides thinking it and a Liter of water in the bottle cage will probably work. My Bushbox LF fits fine in the inside compartment and the Trangia burner in the stretch pocket on the left side.
Overall I’m very please with the Hipster and will probably do my own review of it on You Tube as like I said there is very limited info out there for such a nice product.
Pros:
Light, durable.
Cons:
Slips a little while running.
Best Used for:
Bike packing.
Would Recommend:
Yes
