- Krav-Maga (Israeli hand to hand fighting) - Mako Defense teaches the Israeli Method of fighting exactly as it is taught to the Israeli Special Forces, not the modified version that some companies may offer in the United States.
- Course slots are limited to 20 students and will be filled on a first come first train basis!
- Class starts at 9:00am - 6:00pm - arrival on time is absolutely necessary!
- Lunch break from 12:30 pm - 2:00pm
Requirements of Mako Counter Terror Complete Carbine Training:
Equipment:
- M4, M16, or AR-15 rifle or carbine. These techniques are taught as they are to Israeli Special Forces soldiers, so no other type of carbine or rifle may be used. Best configuration is a carbine (16" or shorter barrel) with flat-top upper, detachable or flip-up rear iron sight, fixed or flip-up front iron sight.
- Minimum of two magazines.
- Reflex Optic (red dot sight). Israeli issue Self-powered Day/Night Reflex Sight (M21) is recommended.
- Sling. Israeli SL-1 slings will be available for use by students.
- Handguard with rail. NFR and FGR-3 handguards are recommended.
- Semi-auto pistol with holster.
- Cleaning kit and lube.
Clothing:
- Comfortable boots or shoes suitable for physical activity.
- Tactical-type pants.
- T-shirt, polo shirt, etc.
- Fleece or light jacket
Required Safety Equipment:
- Ballistic Eye Protection
- Suitable hearing protection
Recommended Safety Equipment:
- Knee Pads
- Shooting Gloves
